ECONOMIC DEV COMMISSIONER PARLEYS ONNA POLITICAL CLASS OVER GOV EMMANUEL’S SUCCESSION
The Akwa Ibom State Commissioner for Economic Development, Mr. Emem Bob, has reaffirmed that the succession plan of Governor Udom Emmanuel is non-negotiable.
At a meeting with delegates from Onna Local Government Area at the country home of the State Party Secretary, Mr. Harrison Ekpo at Ikot Udo Essang, Mr Bob said that Pastor Umo Eno has what it takes to succeed at the Hilltop Mansion from May 29, 2023.
He cited Pastor Eno’s capacity to sustain the economic development and peace enjoyed in the state, urging everyone in the area to remain in support of the Succession Plan of the Governor.
“My appointment as a commissioner in the State Executive council is not to fight anybody but to bring everybody to work together as a team and also uphold the peace we are already enjoying through the leadership of Mr. Udom Emmanuel”.
Also speaking, the State Party Secretary, Mr. Harrison Ekpo and the Chapter Chairman, Barr. Ubong Adiakpan, commended the Economic Development Boss for finding time to interact with the delegates and reassured him of their loyalty and commitment to the succession plan of the Governor.
The meeting had in attendance, The Leader, Onna Legislative Council, Hon. Collins Emmanuel, Chapter Officers of the Peoples Democratic Party, fifteen Wards Chairmen and their executive members.
