Comrade Solomon Thompson, the supervisor for culture and tourism in ONNA Local Government Transition Committee, has breathed new life into an abandoned water project in Ikot Udo Esang village, Awa Ward 6, ONNA LGA.
Water, as essential as the air we breathe, stands as a cornerstone of sustainable development goals. Previously, Ikot Udo Esang relied on water from Ikot Mbong village, but Comrade Solomon Thompson stepped in to address this critical need.
Notably, Comrade Solomon has also been a driving force behind grassroots football tournaments, achieving remarkable success as a Team Manager. His problem-solving skills and commitment extend beyond Ikot Udo Esang, benefiting the entire Asuna Nung Oku Clan and ONNA LGA.
Small businesses owners have received business support at his instance to augment thier business capital.
Comrade Solomon Thompson has also created a WhatsApp platform (Updating Awa Ward 6) for constituents of the ward to aid proper dissemination of information regarding policies and programs of ONNA Transition Government and the Golden Era.
