Odudu-Abasi ICT Academy celebrated its third batch of graduates amidst pomp and cheers

The Oduduabasi ICT Academy, a tuition-free school that provides ICT education and training to students in ONNA LGA – Nigeria, held its third graduation ceremony on Friday, December 8, 2023. The ceremony was graced by the presence of Chief Sam Etukudo, President ONNA USA Houston and Obong Kokoette Johnny Ikott, CEO K-Orbit Hotels as Special Guests of Honour who congratulated the graduates and praised their achievements.
Pastor Odudu-Abasi Israel, a native of Ikot Ebiere but resident in Houston Texas USA is the proprietor of the ICT academy that is designed to help improve the educational level of pupils and students in his community.
The skills center offers various courses in ICT, such as Internet Operations, Desktop Publishing, Data Processing and General Computing.
The school also provides practical training and mentorship to its students, who have access to modern equipment and facilities.
Obong Kokoette Johnny Ikott in his goodwill message urged the graduates to use their skills and knowledge for good causes and to serve God and humanity with integrity and excellence even as he pledged to donate more personal computers/laptops to aid Chief Odudu-Abasi Israel’s community work.
The proprietor of the center expressed gratitude to God for His blessings and guidance throughout the years and prayed for wisdom, God’s direction and heavenly provision for the students of the academy.
He said that the skills center is not only a place of learning but also a place of transformation. He said the academy is committed to continue providing quality ICT skills and training to more students who want to pursue their dreams in ICT.
The graduation ceremony was a joyous occasion that celebrated the achievements of the graduates and inspired others to join them in their quest for ICT knowledge. The ceremony was also a testament to the vision and mission of the Oduduabasi ICT World: to empower young people with ICT skills that can change lives.
High points of the event include certificate presentation that was preceded by Christmas songs rendition by students of the academy.
