TWO YEARS IN OFFICE: PAT IFON WENT BACK TO GOD FOR A THANKSGIVING

……..Urges Constituents to support Governor Emmanuel through the Completion Agenda and Succession Plan

In the spirit of gratitude, the member representing Eket/ Esit Eket/ONNA/Ibeno Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Pat Ifon, his wife, Dr Elsie Ifon and some constituents, gathered for a Thanksgiving Service to God Almighty for His faithfulness towards himself, family members and Constituents.

The event which is meant to celebrate his two years in office, took place at the Great and Mighty Ministry International, Eket, Akwa Ibom State, featured hours of thrilling and spirit-filled Praise and Worship session by seasoned Gospel Ministers within and outside Akwa Ibom State.


Ifon in his remark, thanked God for the opportunity given him to serve his people and for the love shown him by his Constituents. The famous educationist added that thanksgiving is a personal way of showing gratitude to God for his faithfulness and love.

“I choose today to thank God for the life he’s given me, my family and Constituents as well as the love shown me by members of the public and the constant prayers offered us by the church”

“It wouldn’t have been easy without your constant prayers and support which has brought me this far; I’m here to thank God for his preservation and faithfulness in our lives. Indeed I have seen his great and mighty hands in my Life. The blessings of the Lord in our lives is uncountable.” He said.

Ifon also used the event to thank His Excellency, Governor Udom Emmanuel for his unreserved love and immeasurable support shown him in the course of discharging his constitutional duties as his Representative in the National Assembly.

“Let me also use this opportunity to thank His Excellency, Mr Udom Emmanuel for his unreserved love and immeasurable support shown me that has aided me to discharge my duties effectively”

He reiterated the Governor’s resolve to leave a positive mark in the Federal Constituency and urged the constituents to support the Governor’s Completion Agenda and his succession plan with the believe that he will end well for the constituency.

The recently inaugurated chapter Coordinator, Maintain Peace Movement (MPM), ONNA Chapter thanked the church for the privilege given him, saying that he will continually allow himself to be used as an instrument in God’s hand for the betterment of his Constituents.

In her brief Exhortation at the event, the Senior Pastor, Evang. Emmanuella Akpabot, who drew her text from 3rd John 2; Prov. 22:2; Joshua 1:8 and John 1:6, urged Christians to believe, trust and obey God’s instructions as a prerequisite to living in good health and prosperity, adding that God alone was able to see them through several life challenges.
