*INYANG-EYEN CHARGES KINSMEN TO REDOUBLE SUPPORT FOR GOV. EMMANUEL*
Chief of Staff to the Governor, Akparawa Ephraim Inyang-Eyen, on Sunday commended his boss for the countless developmental strides across the State embarked upon by his administration and charged his kinsmen in particular and Akwa Ibomites to redouble support for the Governor and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Akparawa Inyang-Eyen gave the charge at a well attended event held in his honour to thank God for his life and that of his family.
The event which took place at his country home, Ikot Ebiere, ONNA Local Government Area attracted all Royal Fathers in Oniong Clan, ONNA Local Government legislative Council, the party structure led by the ONNA Chapter Chairman of PDP, Clerics, leaders of political and socio-cultural groups including Afigh Iwaad Ekid.
While enumerating remarkable achievements of the Governor in Aviation, Agriculture, Education, Human capital development, Security, Infrastructure, Sports among others, the newly crowned ‘Mkpisong’ of Ekid Nation who was flanked by his wife; Mrs. Ime Inyang-Eyen, maintained that the best way to appreciate the governor for his innumerable feats, was to give him maximum support, stressing that such support should start from ‘home’.
Various speakers at the event including the Chapter Chairman of PDP, traditional fathers and others, were unequivocal in their remark to support the Governor and his Completion Agenda.
They specifically eulogize Akparawa Inyang-Eyen and wife for always throwing their gates open for their people to have access to them.
The speakers also congratulated the CoS for the Chieftaincy title bestowed on him recently by the Paramount Ruler of Eket, HRM (Obong) E. C. Abia, as the “Pillar of Light (Mkpisong)” of Ekid Nation.
Prayers were offered to God to guide and protect the Akwa Ibom first family, the Inyang-Eyens and the people of the State.
The event had the presence of the Village Head of Ikot Ebiere, Village Head of Ikot Ebekpo, Village Head of Ikwe and Village Head of Ikot Udo.
Others were: Village Head of Ikot Anang, Village Head of Ukpanah, Village Head of Ikot Iko Ibon, Chairman Village Council of Akpabom, Deputy Village Head of Okom, representative of Ikot Akpatek, Village Head of Mkpaeto, Deputy Village Head of Ikot Ndudod, Ikot Ebidang Village representative, Clan Secretary of ONIONG Clan, Barr Ubong Adiakpan, PDP chapter Chairman, Leader of ONNA legislative council, International President, Afigh Iwaad Ekid, friends and mentees of the Governor’s Chief of Staff.
