The Executive and Members of Coastal Allstars FC ONNA, duly affiliated to Akwa Ibom State Football Association unanimously nominated and subsequently decorated Elder Ezekiel Umoh as her Ambassador of Sports and Patron.

Elder Ezekiel Umoh is the immediate past Permanent Secretary SUBEB Akwa Ibom State. It was during his tenure as Permanent Secretary of SUBEB that the Executive Governor of Akwa Ibom State approved the recruitment of 3000 primary school teachers. Under his watch the educational sector has recorded tremendous gains with adequate facelift to school facilities across the state.
It’s also on record that Elder Ezekiel has sponsored an empowerment program with numerous schemes to uplift the people of Oniong East 3 in ONNA away from the shackles of poverty.

His spell as Director, Ministry of Agriculture in Akwa Ibom State was laden with leap and bounds of excellence in establishing Oil Palm Plantations and Orange Orchards; Rt. Hon. Bassey Essien, Hon. Okon Osu, Chief J. J. Obot and Arc. Nya-Etok all felt his midas touch in Plantation Agriculture.

The president of Coastal Allstars FC ONNA, Hon. Kingsley Johnny who presented the award, prayed the Elder to relent not in his good deeds but to bring his humanitarian accolades garnered overtime to function as Patron of Coastal Allstars FC.

Elder Ezekiel Umoh while receiving the award thanked the Club for finding him worthy of such honour. He wholeheartedly thanked the Executive Governor of Akwa Ibom State for the honour done him to serve the state as a Permanent Secretary of the prestigious SUBEB. He pledge to further collaborate with the club in harnessing more talents in sports.

Dr. Oscar Joshua who was in attendance also lends his voice to the success stories of Elder Ezekiel Umoh. Mr. Itiat Itiat, Secretary of the club; Mr. Attat Alex Attat, Provost; Elder Akanimo Essien, assistant secretary and Ayara Etete were also in attendance.
