Udonsek Unity Cup 2024 Reaches Thrilling Climax: A’Ibom FA Chairman Thumbs Up Competition
The Chairman of the Akwa Ibom State Football Association, Mr. Samuel Umoh, alongside Hon. Nda Nda, were among the dignitaries who attended the finals of the Udonsek Unity Cup at Ikot Ebidang.
The special guest of the day, Apostle Dr. (Amb.) Elijah Jack, performed the kickoff of the duel between Blizy Beauty FC and Debby FC. The match ended goalless, but Debby FC claimed victory via a penalty shootout.
Mr. Samuel Umoh, while presenting the golden trophy alongside the sponsor of the event, Prince Ubong Sunny Udonsek, applauded the initiative and commended the Udonsek Dynasty for organizing this tournament over the past fifteen years. He proudly informed the audience that the last set of Super Eagles team members who defeated the Black Stars of Ghana included a talent nurtured through this very tournament. Saviour Isaac has been a revelation and is now a national team player, thanks to this tournament.
Lofty prizes were awarded to the winning teams, and the guests were also honored.

Elder Godwin Udonsek, chairman of the local organizing committee, hinted that the 2025 edition of the tournament would be more exciting, with plans to increase the number of participating teams and an upward review of prizes.
