Elder Iniabasi Ekanem: A Private Citizen’s Perspective 4.0
Elevating Educational Excellence Through Strategic Initiatives
Education is not just power—it’s a superpower when fused with science and technology.
Elder (Hon) Iniabasi Ekanem, Chairman of the ONNA Local Government Transition Committee, has been unwavering in his commitment to educational advancement. His tenure as Executive Chairman was marked by significant educational grants awarded to all ONNA students, with special emphasis on those pursuing degrees in Medical Sciences, Law, and Engineering.
The collaboration between the Federated ONNA Students of Nigeria (FOSON) and Elder Iniabasi’s administration has flourished, grounded in a foundation of fulfilled promises as the grant list got FOSON’s approval.
Postgraduate students have also benefited from research grants, bolstering their academic pursuits and contributions to their fields.
His Excellency Pastor Umo Bassey Eno, the Executive Governor of Akwa Ibom State, recognized Elder Iniabasi Ekanem’s impactful efforts. After thorough evaluations by the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly and a team of auditors, he was deemed fit for a second term as Chairman of the Transition Committee. This reappointment paves the way for continued people-focused political achievements.
With this renewed opportunity for service, I strongly advocate for a strategic focus on integrating Science Technology Engineering Mathematics (STEM) education in our schools. This will pave the path for a specialized workforce ready to meet future demands.
Your unwavering support is invaluable, Akparawa Iniabasi Ekanem.
