UPROAR AS IKOT ABASI VILLAGE HEAD GET VOTE OF NO CONFIDENCE
A faction of the village Council of Ikot Abasi Oniong loyal to Obong Godwin Ben has today orchestrated a vote of no confidence on their village head.
The Village Head of Ikot Abasi-Oniong, also serving as the Clan Head of Oniong Clan in ONNA Local Government Area, Etebom (Barr) Samuel J. Efik, has been alleged to misappropriate funds as sent to the community by Sterling Global.
A vote of no confidence was signed by 10 out of 13 family heads who constitute the village council, along with the Village Council Secretary and the Chairman of the Village Council.
