The college of Personal Assistant II to the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, ONNA chapter, paid a courtesy call on the chapter chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in ONNA Local Government Area at his abode.
The chapter chairman of PDP in ONNA gave the college a warm welcome, he was with pastor Victor Udofia, the chapter auditor general of PDP in ONNA who led the opening prayer. Self introduction was done by all Personal Assistant to the Governor including the PA representing the Governor in his ward who came with other three Gov’s aides from Nsit Ubium to observe the beautiful outing displayed by the college of PA in ONNA.
Hon. Samuel Umana appreciated the chapter chairman for giving everyone in the party the opportunity to explore and for being proactive in discharging his duty.
The Dean of the the college , Elder Ekerete Ituen thanked the party chairman for his leadership prowess especially his transparent conduct during the process of electing Personal Assistant to the Governor, he added that the college is going to work with all the stakeholders in ONNA to ensure that the impact of Arise Agenda of His Excellency Pastor Umoh Bassey Eno, the Executive Governor of Akwa Ibom State is felt in the rural areas. The dean promised the chapter that the college will make the party proud , speaking, he made it known that the college decided to pay a courtesy call on the barrister first , not as the highest political office holder, but as the leader of the party (PDP) in ONNA that gave them the platform to become aides to the Governor and the same party has produced so many leaders.
Deacon Aniefiok James, PA from the Governor’s ward, thanked the chapter chairman and the college for inviting him , he stressed that he is there to admire and observe the beautiful formation that ONNA college of PA has adopted and to also thank the ONNA people, especially the immediate past Governor, Mr Udom for setting up the structure that produced the Governor who happens to come from his Local Government. He thanked the party in ONNA for their support and that he’s sure that ONNA will continue to support pastor Umoh Bassey Eno.
The chapter chairman commended the ONNA college of Personal Assistant II to the Governor for the unity and remembering the party that gave them and others the ladder to climb, he advised them to appreciate their Ward leaders for the role they played during the election process that produced them from all wards in ONNA. He stressed that they should endeavor to be available to their people and that they should drive the Arise Agenda of His Excellency to their respective wards. In his speech, he reminded the college that no one collected money from them before making them PA, in that regard, they should discharge their duties without taking bribe. The barrister thanked the Governor of Akwa Ibom State for the idea of picking His Personal Assistant from all the wards in Akwa Ibom, he also thanked the immediate past Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Mr Udom Emmanuel for the structure that produced pastor Umoh Eno, he blessed the college and prayed for them to succeed, in response to what the deacon Aniefiok James said, barr. Adiakpan, promised Nsit Ubium aides to the Governor that, ONNA started with pastor Umoh Bassey Eno and that the Governor will continue to enjoy unwavering support from ONNA people.
Pastor Victor Udofia thanked the college for the their conduct so far, he advised that the Gov’s aides should put the interest of the Governor first , furthermore, he reminded them to respect their political leaders and stakeholders I’m order to drive home the Arise Agenda of His Excellency, Pastor Umoh Bassey Eno.
