AK-CARES: Labour Intensive Public workfare (LIPW) Disbursement Flag-off
The Akwa Ibom State Commissioner for Economic Development Mr. Emem Bob on Wednesday Flagged-off the Disbursement of Stipends to1565 beneficiaries of Labour Intensive Public workfare (LIPW), Result Area 1 (DLI1.2).
He thanked the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Mr. Udom Emmanuel for his commitment and interest towards the AK-CARES Programme in the State and for giving his kind approval for disbursement to the beneficiaries.
He further uses the occasion to urge the beneficiaries to ensure that they carry out their part of the pact by making sure that the locations they have been deployed to work are always kept neat. We also charged the beneficiaries to Make adequate use of this support to improve the well-being and livelihood of their various households
He assures beneficiaries of the State Government’s commitment to ensure that the desired goals and objectives of the Programme are achieved.
