AK-CARES COMMENCE DISBURSEMENT OF INPUTS TO FARMERS
Yesterday at Idongesit Nkanga Secretariat, Uyo, the Steering Committee of AK-CARES Programme in the state commenced the distribution of inputs to farmers captured in her FCAs across the State.
The Honourable Commissioner of Agriculture, Dr Mrs Offiong Offor; Honourable Commissioner Ministry of Economic Development Mr Emem Almond Bob represented by the Permanent Secretary, Mr Effiong Ekpenyong and the State Coordinator of AK-CARES, Mrs Enobong OKpongkpong flagged off the distribution exercise.
It is noted that all beneficiaries are tied to their georeferenced data for effective monitoring and supervision being that they are all existing agriprenuers residence in the state.
The AK-CARES Programme is designed to augment farmers affected by the COVID 19 harsh economic realities.
