AKPSMC Visits Ministry of Economic Development
The Honourable Commissioner for Economic Development Akwa Ibom State, Mr. Emem Bob on Monday received the Akwa Ibom Public Service Monitoring Committee(AKPSMC) led by the Chairman of the Committee and Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Transport, Akwa Ibom State, Otuekong Nse Edem for the spot check on staff, as part of enforcing compliance on punctual resumption for duties in Akwa Ibom State Civil Service.
Mr Bob applauded the State Governor, Mr Udom Emmanuel for setting up the team. “This further strengths my confidence in the Civil Service”. He said.
The ONNA Born politician also commended the monitoring committee for going around all the MDAs to ensure there is a check and balance in staff participation in duties.
He pledged the Ministry’s support for the committee. “We will welcome you anytime, any day to the Ministry of Economic Development, Akwa Ibom State”. He added.
