Hon. Sunday Johnny Hosts Media Community In ONNA, Preaches Love and Unity
The Leader of the Eight Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly and Member representing ONNA State Constituency, Hon. Sunday Udofot Johnny, on Monday, December 30, spread some festive cheer by hosting a gathering for the media community in ONNA at his Shelter Aftique residence in Uyo.
During his speech, Hon. Johnny emphasized the importance of love, unity, and responsible reporting to drive development in ONNA and Akwa Ibom State as a whole. He also expressed his gratitude for the support given to the former Governor, Mr. Udom Emmanuel, and appealed for similar support for the current Governor, Pastor Umo Eno.
Hon. Johnny cautioned against blackmail, stating that it may provide temporary benefits but ultimately leads to destruction. He urged the media to maintain high standards and support his efforts as a House of Assembly Member.
The event was well-received, with various speakers praising Hon. Johnny’s generosity and hospitality. Prince Godwin Ben, the DG Campaigns and Engr. Nkereuwem Monday, thanked Hon. Johnny, encouraged the media to continue supporting him while striving for excellence in their reporting.
