ONNA Local Government Council hereby announces the dissolution of all existing Committees constituted by past administrations with immediate effect.
This includes all Committees and Agencies responsible for revenue collection, labour and industrial relations, and other matters in favour of the Council. The decision is part of an ongoing process to optimise the efficiency of governance of the Local Government Area.
All those concerned are, by this notice, directed to hand all associated documents and assets of Council in their possession over to the Head of Local Government Service immediately.
Chairman of Council has also reconstituted the LABOUR AND INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS COMMITTEE with the following members, with immediate effect:
1. Mr Ekerete Okon George – Chairman
2. Engr Joseph Markson Akpaete – Secretary
3. Mr Enoto Ezekiel Phillips – Treasurer
4. Mr Ekerete Akpan Essien – PRO
5. Mr Kufre Okon Nathaniel – Member
6. Mr Sunday Monday Philip – Member
7. Mr Udo Akpan Etukudo – Member
Meanwhile, I wish to express our gratitude to all past committee members for their dedicated services and contributions.
Further announcement regarding other committee formations and appointments shall be made in due course.
