ONNA PDP Chairman Hails Peaceful Polls, Congratulates Kufre Umoren on Election Victory
Hon. Kingsley Johnny, Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in ONNA, has praised the Akwa Ibom State Electoral Commission (AKISIEC) for conducting a smooth and unbiased Local Government election. Speaking after Kufre Umoren’s victory was declared, Johnny commended AKISIEC for its impartial stance.
Johnny congratulated Umoren on securing the majority votes and meeting the requirements for Chairman-Elect. He also extended congratulations to Mfon Uko, Vice Chairman-Elect, and the 15 Councillors-Elect.
“This victory celebrates more democratic dividends for our people,” Johnny said. “I applaud the party machinery for tirelessly campaigning across the state and local government, making this collective victory possible.”
With Kufre Umoren at the helm, Johnny assured that people-centric projects will be prioritized in ONNA Local Government Council.
This development follows the PDP’s successful ward congresses/primaries in Akwa Ibom State, which were hailed for their peaceful conduct. The party’s leadership has demonstrated its commitment to unity and cooperation, setting the stage for future electoral successes.
