The Inauguration of Akwa Esop Imaisong Ibibio, Onna Chapter was an exploration of love and unity as highly respected dignitaries of the traditional institution in Onna and beyond converged at the Palace of the Paramount Ruler of ONNA Local Government Area, His Royal Majesty Edidem Raymond Timothy Inyang to witness the administration of the oath of office to the newly appointed executives by the Ntisong IV Pius James Okon.
The event was graced by top-ranking traditional Chiefs and Fathers of ONNA and beyond. Present at the inauguration were Chief Sunny Udonsek, Obong Uforo 1 of Ibibio Land and his dear wife Obongawan Regina Udonsek, Akwa Ibom State Executive Officer of PDP; Ven. (Dr) David Udonsek, Dean College of MPM Coordinators ONNA; Mr. Obot Umoetuk, Executive Secretary ONNA Local Government Council; Elder U.U Oton, Comrade Dan Friday, and many others .
The highlight of the Ceremony witnessed the conferment of the Award of Honour on Ven. (Dr.) David Udonsek as The Mkpisong Ibibio, the highest Traditional title in Ibibio Land by the Ntisong Ibibio IV in recognition of his selfless services to humanity and Onna communities in particular.
