Nse Essien, Ekpoattai, Ekpo, Utin ors attend Awa Ward VI PDP Congress
… reveal Hon. Samuel Umana as PA designate to Executive Governor of Akwa Ibom State.
As directed by PDP Akwa Ibom State, Awa Ward VI PDP faithfuls converged for her general meeting, first after the general election that propelled Governor Umo Eno to the Hill Top Mansion.
Evangelist Abraham Duff Tom, Ward Chairman of PDP set the top of the meet while Mr. Harrison Ekpo, State Secretary of the party welcomed members to the congress.
Rt. Hon. Owoidighe Ekpoattai former member Eket/ONNA/Esit Eket/Ibeno Federal Constituency in her remark informed that after election is governance and that party members should demand appropriate brief from thier representatives at the Local Government level. The former ONNA Council Chairman also task stakeholders to be fair in thier dispensing of political deliverables considering the fact that Awa Ward VI has the most number of villages and highest votes in the Local Government. She commended His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno for his leadership direction as encapsulated in the ARISE Agenda.
Rt. Hon. Ime Utin, pioneer chapter chairman of PDP in ONNA charged that openness and consultation with all stakeholders is key to cement happy hours in the Ward.
The immediate past member for ONNA State Constituency and Board Member Nigeria Football Federation, Rt. Hon. Otuekong Nse Essien reacted that youths should not regret embarking on training as it’s the yardstick for employability.
The ward Leader, Hon. Udo Uyoata Ebio revealed Hon. Samuel Umana as the PA designate from the ward.
Other stakeholders who also addressed the congress include Dr. Barr. Ime Ekpoattai, former Commissioner; Comrade Ubong Essien, Chapter Youth Leader of PDP ONNA and Dr. Isaiah Jackson, a Material Manager.
Comrade Aniekan Umana, Ward Secretary of the PDP moderated and the closure was as usual.
