Easter Felicitations: AKNC Boss, with Wife, Fetes Ward for support to Gov. Emmanuel/Pastor Umo Eno

Dateline April 10, 2023, the General Manager/ Editor-in-Chief of the Akwa Ibom Newspaper Corporation and publishers of Pioneer Newspapers, Umoette Umoette, in company of his wife, Eunice Umoette, played host to his community as he fetes women, youths and other stakeholders of his political ward, Nung Ndem ward 1, in Onna Local Government area of Akwa Ibom State.

The occasion which took place at his village residence in Okat, Onna Local Government, had in attendance, the political players across all the ward units.
The highpoint of the event was the gifting of textile materials and cash to widows in the community.
According to Umoette, ” I have today come to say thank you, thank you and thank you! I say Thank you for your support to Governor Udom Emmanuel’s well landing with Umo Eno. I say thank you for your confidence and believe in Umo Eno, that made you vote him.
“I chose to come today to celebrate with you all in the spirit of this Easter season because, just as the grave could not hold back our savior Jesus Christ; so also did all manner of wicked plots and gang-ups against Umo Eno, could not hold back his electoral victory”.



Umoette also says his visit was to commiserate with the widows and assure them that even though their husbands were gone forever, unlike Jesus Christ, they should draw strength in the significance and blessings that comes with the resurrection of Jesus Christ, upon their lives, as it is sufficient enough to guarantee them a happy life throughout their life time.
The wife, also thanked the women especially, for braving everything to not only encourage themselves, but also their children, to go out and vote for Umo Eno, in the just concluded gubernatorial election in the state.
A political stalwart in the community, Elder Ekerete Ituen, also commended the women and youths for supporting the completion agenda of Governor Udom Emmanuel and the emergence of Pastor Umo Eno. He noted that without the success of Pastor Umo Eno at the recent poll, the host would not have been encouraged to come celebrate Easter with the community.
Other political stakeholders who spoke at the event also maintained the fact that without the support of the women, youths and elders in the community in the last elections, it would not have been possible for the ward to deliver Pastor Umo Eno in a landslide victory against other contenders.
In conclusion, the host assured the community that their support towards the emergence of Pastor Umo Eno has just opened up the community for more dividends of Democracy.
