AKWAPOLY GETS NEW REGISTRAR
The Governing Council of the Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic, Ikot Osurua, chaired by Barr. Ekpeyong Ntekim has approved the appointment of the Deputy Registrar, Establishment, Mr. Godswill Essien Udofah, as the Acting Registrar of the Polytechnic.
In a statement signed by the Deputy Registrar of, Public Relations Unit, Ms. Gloria Udoudom, the appointment of Mr. Udofah as the institution’s Acting Registrar follows the commencement of terminal/retirement leave by the Deputy Registrar/Secretary of Council, Mr. Ini Dominic Ebong which took effect from March 15th, 2023.
Until his elevation to the position of Acting Registrar, Mr. Udofah had served as the Polytechnic’s Deputy Registrar in charge of Establishment for eleven years. Before joining the Polytechnic, he served as an elected Vice Chairman of Ikot Ekpene Local Government Area.
According to the release, his appointment as Acting Registrar takes effect from March 15th, 2023.
