Pastor Uwem Andrew-Essien redeem pledge of a cow each to communities in Nung Oku Itina Group of Villages

Still basking in the euphoria of the Peoples Democratic Party election victory in Akwa Ibom where Pastor Umo Bassey Eno and Mr Sunday Udofot Johnny emerge Governor-Elect and House of Assembly Member-Elect respectively, a delegation at the instance of Pastor Uwem Andrew-Essien presented a cow each to six communities in Nung Oku Itina to help ignite the Happy Hour Celebration.

Pastor Uwem during the buildup to the elections had pledged to present a cow each to the six communities that constitute Group in a bid to woo support for PDP Candidates heading to the polls.

The delegation led by the Group Head of Nung Oku Itina, Rt. Hon. Ime Utin thanked the donor specially for redeeming his pledge and the party faithfuls in each community visited for voting massively for the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

He informed that Happy Hour is here in Akwa Ibom State and Nung Oku Itina shall not be left out.

Mr Itiat Itiat Christopher who spoke on behalf of PDP Stakeholders in Ikot Obio-Eket community thanked Pastor Uwem and pray for more elevation and God’s protection for his family.

Other members of the delegation include Mr Johnson Ekaette, Aide to the Accountant General; Hon. Samuel Umanah, former councillors Awa Ward 4, and Alhaji Musa the leader of Cow Sellers in Eket Senatorial District.

Nung Oku Itina Group of villages has Atiamkpat, Ikot Obio-Eket, Ikot Mbong, Ikot Akpan Nko, Ikot Udo Esang and Nung Oku Ekanem community as member communities resident in Awa Ward 4, ONNA Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State.
