She said in “their quest to mobilize and sensitize eligible women voters in ONNA local government area ahead of the Governorship and House of Assembly elections on Saturday March 18th, they have toured all the units and wards in the entire local and that the reponses garnered are positive.”

The Commissioner’s wife who has been consistently reaching out to women from her domain, expressed optimism that Pastor Umo Eno will not only coast home to a resounding victory in the area, but that the PDP candidate for the state house of assembly in the area, Mr. Sunday Johnny, and all PDP candidates would win in the senatorial district.

“I’m very confident that Pastor Umo Eno will emerge victorious on Saturday. Mr. Sunday Johnny will also win a landslide because we have done our part by sensitizing and canvassing for votes from our women and i must say that the women have decided to pitch their tents with these very peaceful men. I have no doubt that our efforts would be crowned with glory on Saturday,” Mrs. Iniobong Bob said.

Mrs. Unyime Johnny on her part, reassured the women of her husband’s commitment to the welfare of the women if elected, saying aside sponsoring bills to protect women’s rights, her husband will also be reaching to women with empowerment programmes on regular intervals.

She thanked them for their unrivalled support and as well called on all men, women and youths of the area to turn out in droves to vote for the party come Saturday.
