PDP WARD TOUR: STAKEHOLDERS IN ONIONG WEST 2 & EAST 3 VOW TO RETURN ATIKU, UMO ENO, EKONG, ETTEH & JOHNNY
…. Says, their vote is for PDP
Ahead of the 2023 general elections, stakeholders, and community leaders in Oniong West 2 and Oniong East 3 have declared their support for Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, Pastor Umo Eno, Barr Ekong Sampson, Rt Hon Okpolupum Etteh and Mr Sunday Johnny as candidates of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the forthcoming general elections, saying they have been adopted as their sole candidates.
The community leaders and political stakeholders, who spoke on Monday, February 6, 2023, during PDP ward to ward tour assured of their unflinching support, saying they have rejected other political parties because of the impeccable qualities and capacity of the PDP candidates.
Speaking in their different wards, Mr. Friday Godwin (Black) and Elder Ezekiel Umoh, said their communities had no alternative to the PDP, adding that they have benefited from the party.
They thanked the Leader of the party in the state, Mr. Udom Emmanuel for presenting Pastor Umo Eno as governorship candidate, stressing that he has proven to be more qualified, prepared and poised for the task ahead, adding that the entire state has spoken through their action.
Presenting the candidates to the people, Member representing ONNA State Constituency in the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Nse Essien, said they could vouch for all candidates presented by the party to be competence and ready to serve.
He further noted that the only party that will bring further development to the area is the People’s Democratic Party.
