Team Rainbow declares support for Pastor Umo Eno
Since the emergence of Pastor Umo Eno as the People’s Democratic Party Gubernatorial Candidate for Akwa Ibom State, there have been a series of alignment and declarations of support by various political support groups and political organizations towards Pastor Umo Eno/Akon Eyakenyi’s choice.
Recent the declaration of total support for the ARISE Agenda of Pastor Umo Eno by a fast-growing support group, known as Team Rainbow.
The declaration was done at the Official Inauguration of the National Officers, State, Chapter Executives and wards of Team Rainbow at Ibom Hall, IBB Uyo Akwa Ibom State on Thursday 20th October, 2022.
Declaring the event open, the Chairman on the occasion, Pastor Sunny Ituen thanked the group for teaming up to support a man sent by God to pilot the affairs of Akwa Ibom State.
Pastor Ituen described the group as a group that has the backing of the uncommon grace of God, while stating that the group will excel on every side.
He further charged the executives and members to intensify their efforts in spreading Pastor Umo Eno’s gospel to the grassroots while imploring the members to give their full support to the executive to enable the group to produce results and stand out amongst other support groups.
In her speech, the International President of Team Rainbow, Evangelist (Mrs) Ememobong Christopher appreciated God for His love and mercy towards her and for making Team Rainbow come into being a reality.
“This whole team started like a dream and today it is an uncommon reality,” said Evangelist Ememobong.
She lauded her team members for their commitment and dedication towards the growth and progress of the Team Rainbow while appreciating members for turning out in large numbers from the thirty-one Local Government Areas of Akwa Ibom State to make the inauguration a success.
Evangelist Ememobong established that “Team Rainbow is not just a support group that will only support Pastor Umo Eno to become the next Governor of Akwa Ibom State, it is a team that will exist beyond 2023 to groom and nurture her members in terms of capacity building and entrepreneurship”
She further promised the total and unalloyed support of the group towards Pastor Umo Eno’s gubernatorial ambition, as well as all candidates of the People’s Democratic Party from the Presidency to House of Assembly seats.
The Special Guest of Honour and People’s Democratic Party Gubernatorial Candidate, Pastor Umo Eno who was represented by Pastor Sunny thanked the group for the show of love and support towards his gubernatorial ambition.
He seized the opportunity to encourage youths on the need to get involved in entrepreneurship while describing entrepreneurship as the solution to the increasing unemployment rate in our society. He assured that his administration comes 2023, will create an enabling environment for small and medium-scale enterprises to thrive, as well as provide financial facilities to young entrepreneurs to boost their businesses.
He further stated that elections are done at the grassroots; hence, the need for all coordinators of the group at all levels to return to their various grassroots and units to work in order to ensure the success of Governor Udom Emmanuel’s Completion Agenda.
