Economic Development Boss, Emem Bob hosts Entire PDP Structure in ONNA

Saturday, 10th September, 2022, would not be forgotten in a hurry by the entire structure of the People’s Democratic Party, ONNA chapter who at the instance of the Hon. Commissioner for Economic Development, Mr. Emem Bob, were hosted to a thank-you / sumptuous parley at his Mkpaeto residence, Oniong West Ward 1.
The party men and women, youths and elders who were full of excitement and praise towards the Commissioner’s humane disposition, were also gifted gifts and financial assistance all courtesy of the Economic Development Commissioner.
Over 100 people defected from the Young Progressive Party ONNA Chapter and other parties to the PDP of which they were gladly received by the chapter Chairman of the party, Barr. Ubong Adiakpan.
In his remarks, the state Economic Development boss, Mr. Emem Bob who was flanked by his beautiful wife, Mrs Ini Nini Almond, thanked the loyal party faithfuls for their consistent support to the umbrella at the grassroots, saying ONNA being the home base of the governor remains intact for PDP.
Delivering a comprehensive accomplishments of the completion agenda and succession plan of governor Udom Emmanuel in Akwa Ibom State, Hon. Bob noted that so much was in store for ONNA people in the succession plan of Governor Udom Emmanuel.
“Don’t let anyone deceive you that ONNA is not PDP. All what we have today was made possible by the PDP government of our son and leader, Governor Udom Emmanuel. We are grateful to him, that’s why we must support him to finish well,” said Emem Bob.
He further encouraged the grassroots generals to continue to hold sway in their respective communities and not allow intruders to gain access, adding that he would ensure that everyone that works for the party would be aptly rewarded in due time.
“Continue keeping faith with the party. Guard your territory and don’t give room for outsiders to come into your Units. From now henceforth, it’s operation deliver your unit. Don’t stay in Uyo and claim to be a grassroots politician. We will keep rewarding all those that work for the party, if today is not for you, don’t be angry as your turn is coming soon,” he said.
Speaker after speaker such as the People’s Democratic Party State Secretary, Hon. Harrison Ekpo, Personal physician to the Governor, Dr. Ignatius Akpabio, PDP Chapter Chairman, Barr. Ubong Adiakpan, Hon. Courage Inam, Mr. Godwin (Black) and Mrs. Margaret Udondem lined up to deliver their messages that re – echoed the support of the ONNA people for governor Udom Emmanuel and the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
Speaking on behalf of the defectors, Mr. Friday Ellias while expressing gratitude to the Hon. Commissioner and the party structure, said they were happy to be received back into the fold. He promised that they will all work towards the success of the completion agenda and succession plan of the Governor.
