Today, I declared opened the Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E), training for key officers in the AK-CARES Programme organised by the State Cares Coordinating Unit (SCCU), Ministry of Economic Development, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State. The event took place at Rosmohr Gold Hotel and Suites, Ewet Housing Estate, Uyo.
The objectives of the AK-CARES M&E training are to equip the participants with the needed tools and skills, to enable them to provide regular and timely feedback to the State Coordinating Unit, and other stakeholders on the quality and pace of project implementation as well as perform other functions that will ensure the success of the programme.
I urged participants involved in the training to listen attentively to all the presentations, and be ready to apply the skills and knowledge gained from the training to effectively monitor and evaluate the implementation of the AK-CARES programme, to achieve the
objectives of the programme in the State.
