…16 teams in Onna get brand new branded jerseys, mobilization, fixtures with rules and Regulations guiding the football competition
Sport stakeholders ably led by the Football Association Chairman in Onna, Hon. Nda Nda joined Ven. David Udonsek and wife at the unveiling ceremony of David Udonsek Grassroot Football Tournament.
The football tourney has the cardinal goal of fostering peace and unity across the fifteen wards in Onna during the yuletide season.
The unveiling ceremony commenced with the formal inauguration of the Local Organizing Committee saddled with the responsibility of midwifing a world class football fiesta.
The Committee has Comrade Nsikan Udonsek, Prince Ubong Akpan, Mr. Itiat Itiat Christopher, Mr Idongesit Evans, Mr Ufot Friday, Comrade Christopher Jimmy and Benedict Jackreece as Chairman, Vice Chairman, Secretary, Medical Director, Director of Mobilization, Technical Director and Media Director respectively as members.
Football stakeholders that witnessed the unveiling include; Vice Chairman Football Association in Onna/Coastal Allstars President, Hon. Kingsley Johnny; Member Football Association in Onna/Coach Coastal Allstars FC, Coach Ernest; Hon. Emmanuel Ekpeyo and Hon. Udo Sunday Mark, chapter officers of PDP in Onna; Evangelist Friday, Mr Williams and Miss Ime Ukpong, representatives of Akwa Ibom State Referees Association and Deacon Friday Udoaka.
Team Managers, Coaches, Team Captains and Assistant Coaches across the fifteen wards in Onna and Coastal Allstars FC were in attendance.
