Coastal Allstars FC ONNA, a recreational sport outfit in Akwa Ibom State has acknowledged the outstanding contribution of Pastor Uwem Andrew-Essien, Accountant General of Akwa Ibom State to sports development.
The President of the club, Hon. Kingsley Johnny performed the decoration and never minced words in declaring Pastor Uwem Andrew-Essien as ‘Ambassador of Sports’
“Pastor Uwem has sponsored many tournaments especially at the grassroot where talents abound and is currently in charge of squash in Akwa Ibom State” he informed
Pastor Uwem was the Special Guest during a football duel between Coastal Allstars FC ONNA and Shelter Afrique Allstars FC Uyo at the prestigious Akpabio Ukpa Sports Stadium in Onna.
The Accountant General was ably represented by the Office Manager of the Accountant General’s Office, Mr Ntiense Offong and was heralded by Mr. Eno Sampson Udo, publicity Secretary of PDP Onna Chapter.
Hon. Nda Nda, Football Association Chairman of Onna; Comrade Billy, President of Shelter Afrique Allstars FC Uyo and Obong Essiet Umana, Provost of Akwa Ibom Allstars Confederation/emeritus President of Coastal Allstars all lent thier voice in applauding the Accountant General for having to witness the football duel, recieve the club’s coveted award and supporting the club immensely.
For the love of the game and to further endear peace, which has been the hallmark of Coastal Allstars FC ONNA, the Special Guest and his entourage, the visiting team and members of the club were treated to an overdose of sumptuous entertainment.
